Spring-cleaning is one of those things that I tend to put off. I have to say though that once I’ve done it, I feel like a fog is lifted, and that’s a feeling I LOVE!
This past week the spring-cleaning has been on my website. My team and I have reviewed, reflected, reconsidered, reevaluated, rearranged, removed, added to and generally polished it up.
Having a bit of a clean out and taking the time to reassess what is working, and what isn’t, then taking action and focusing mindfully on our desires, provided opportunities for a new look and fresh perceptions.
Allowing yourself to go to a place where you can address what’s going on and asking questions to see if what you are aiming for is what you’re getting, begins with first directing a lens in the direction you want to head towards. Of course it helps if you know what that is! Remember all those 2018 heart's desires in earlier blogs… they were designed to help steer and stream-line your 2018 direction. Get them out and have another read…
It’s so easy to veer away from what you desire and let things cruise along. I get it - daily life gets in the way. Trust me - I know and I have all sorts of reasons to justify the status quo of the modus operandi - even when I know a new track would provide a much faster, more productive route in the long term.
Putting in the effort, spring-cleaning with a focused attitude, vision and persistence, usually provides a stream-lined, and pretty successful, outcome.
Applying the spring-cleaning analogy to my 2018 desires shows me that by taking the time to explore different ways of being and doing provides me opportunities to create new lenses to look through as I seek and ignite my heart’s desires.
How are your 2018 heart's desires shaping up? Are you aligning your life towards making them happen?
Would a spring-clean help you shift your status quo and stream-line your modus operandi?
I’d love to hear your thoughts. Leave a comment below or email me.
